Whether we’re working on commercial, residential or strata painting maintenance projects we always make health and safety our number one priority.
That doesn’t just mean we take care of the health of our employees which of course, we do. It means we are careful to adhere to regulatory laws and procedures for all the projects we undertake.
Some commercial, industrial and strata projects require local authority inspection before and after completion. They can also sometimes need final approval. For example, new construction projects, public building work and work on schools and hospitals. These sometimes require that we get a final sign-off from local authorities.
We can also collaborate with independent inspectors and certification bodies to complete projects with absolute adherence to the codes relevant to your building’s use.

Project requirements always vary by building type. There is no one-size-fits-all solution to painting projects. Here, we’ll break down the needs of different sectors.
Commercial
Painting
Unlike residential painting projects, commercial painting for industrial and mixed-use building clients has strict regulations and needs durable staying power. Heavy use can mean quicker wear-and-tear. So, if projects are not planned correctly there can be a need to refresh paintwork sooner.
By choosing the right grade and ensuring the correct density of paint is applied we can make a beautiful finish last longer, even for clients such as factories, car parks, warehouses, and local authority offices. Shopping malls obviously get a lot of foot traffic and other commercial and leisure businesses (including gyms and public pools) also need commercial-grade, project appropriate paint applications.
Here at Painting Maintenance, we can complete any commercial project, big or small, from family-run restaurants to full-blown, theme-park scale leisure units. Each project may require extra thought and planning. Does a swimming pool need water-resistant paint to supplement the tile-work? Does the floor of a furniture store need to be toughened to withstand scratches and scrapes? We can tailor every product we use to fulfil the intended application for the client.
Our results will last for years, perhaps even decades. We can deliver rust treatments, line markings and signage, protective coatings for steel surfaces, waste management (to EPA standards), interior and exterior paint-work and even warehouse grade epoxy floor coatings.
Strata
Painting
Strata painting is not just ordinary painting maintenance. First, we divide up your building into sections and then we assess all of the surfaces thoroughly. Different surfaces use different coatings, paints and resurfacing techniques to bring them in-line with their ultimate durability and aesthetic charm.
That means we might focus on concrete repairs on an exterior but do graffiti removal on another part of the building. Perhaps we’ll do stain removal on a wooden floor and waterproofing in the changing rooms of an indoor pool. We don’t just beautify buildings. We add coatings and perform special treatments that ensure the ongoing prevention of further staining or decay. We can perform aftercare preservation, high-pressure washing, sandblasting and even retouch delicate murals and plasterwork.
What all this means is sometimes we do Strata work on commercial properties and other times we work on residential properties such as apartment buildings, large houses and vacation rentals.
We bring our own scaffold and elevated work platforms (EWP) and we’re not scared of heights! That makes us better than other companies who will make you hire them from a separate supplier (and also very brave).
